Anticipating Austrian Adventures! July 20, 2003
Posted by onemouthband in : Music, One Mouth Band, Travels , add a commentThe One Mouth Band is gearing up for his first European performances at the third annual Vokal Total Festival in Austria! Vokal Total is actually a competition that brings together different a cappella acts from all over the world to sing in Pop, Jazz, and Comedy categories. The One Mouth Band has been accepted into both the Jazz and Pop competitions, and now holds the distinction of being the only solo act admitted to an a cappella competition. They don’t know what they’re in for! Keep your fingers crossed for your favorite one-man a cappella group on July 30th and 31st! Then, like the singing Von Trapps, he heads for the hills outside of Salzburg for a hiking trek. Next month you can expect a full report, along with links to video clips of the Vokal Total performances!

Bill was a guest DJ on a local radio program and made sure to play a few tracks from one of his favorite singers. He is also working on booking the One Mouth Band and possibly other a cappella acts in Hawaii. As always, any and all help is welcome! Thanks to everyone for your continued support!

Local Beatboxers Building Steam July 3, 2003
Posted by onemouthband in : Music, One Mouth Band , add a commentThe One Mouth Band is proud to be in on the ground floor of a promising new performance scene in the Bay Area and that is The Vowel Movement / Beatbox Salon. At the first meeting of this monthly event, the room was full of local talent (mostly of the traditional hip-hop flavor) and lots of enthusiasm for the artform! More will come of this, you can be sure.
