Posted by onemouthband in : Randomnimity , add a commentThe One Mouth Band has just confirmed that he will be appearing at the first-ever SoJam A Cappella Weekend, taking place at Duke University this November 21-23. Your favorite solo a cappella band will appear along side other premiere professional and collegiate a cappella groups from around the Southeastern United States. This means that all three of the major U.S. (non-collegiate) a cappella festivals have invited the One Mouth Band’s participation this year! More details on this event will be posted as they become available.
Beatboxumentary October 16, 2003
Posted by onemouthband in : One Mouth Band , add a commentAs part of the core Vowel Movement crew, The One Mouth Band recently did a photo shoot and interview for an upcoming documentary and art exhibit on the inception and growth of the beatboxing in the San Francisco Bay Area. Photos will be posted as soon as they are available, they show the One Mouth Band in a suit and hat with an old microphone and a martini, beatboxing his heart out in a swinging 70’s lounge. The historic Vowel Movement group shot will take place soon, with the One Mouth Band smiling big. More info about the documentary will be posted as it develops.
Riding the Local Airwaves October 13, 2003

This episode will air live from 9-10 PM in Pacifica on Channel 26, and will be rebroadcast throughout much of the Bay Area (details to be posted as they become available). Sam has been a guest on Bruce’s award winning variety show twice in the last five years. This time there will be over 15 minutes of One Mouth Band performance time in addition to a personal interview. Tune in if you can!

Not only has this weblog been integrated, it now fully XHTML & CSS compliant, restructured for ASP, with a persistant navigation menu and plenty of fresh content. These are all fancy ways of saying it’s easier, faster, and better than ever before! That said, Sam is not yet content with the content and will likely be adding several new features in the coming months, including embedded videos of live performances and a “bootlegs” section so you can download and listen to archived performances!
