Performances will be held in the Bolinas Community Center on October 8th and 9th, and at Mill Valley’s Throckmorton Theater on the 27th and 28th. More information will be available soon.

After receiving over 10,000 albums and 140,000 songs from 85 countries, Nominations for Best Song in 48 Genres and Best Album in 57 categories, One Mouth Band was selected for as one of the eight nominees in the Best Vocal Jazz Album category! As an award nominee, The One Mouth Band will have a chance to perform at the awards ceremony at The Avalon in Hollywood on November 7th! More info will be posted as it becomes available.

Stellar Vowel Movement Show! August 4, 2004
Posted by onemouthband in : Randomnimity , add a commentIt was truly an amazing night at The Vowel Movement last night! In addition to the outrageous beatboxing by Each, SyZyGy, CornBread, The One Mouth Band, Roman Beats, and The Schmaltzen Drops, there was also:
- beatbox bellydancing dual by Process & friends
- freestyle rap & beatbox by Dublin, Infinate & Soulati
- beatbox breakdancing (on a light-up floor, no less!) by Candace Love’s B-Girls & the Vowel Movment
- beatbox live looping by Kid Beyond
- scratch guitar by The Genie
- beatbox flute by Tim Barsky
- 3 camera crews (6 cameras) shooting Digital Video for The Vowel Movement Beatboxumentary project (and the promotional use of the participants!)
- pre-show video shoot with Soulati, Each, The One Mouth Band, SyZyGy, & Elaine Chao
- first “in the round” show
- first MobileVoter.org test
It’s hard to imagine that these shows just keep getting better, but they do! Who knows what beatbox-based greatness will grace the stage next month? Better come and see for yourself! The Vowel Movement happens at Studio Z on the first Tuesday of every month.
Sweet music at the Sweetwater August 2, 2004

It’s a chance to preview what tomorrow night’s performance for the DVD recording at The Vowel Movement, and to reintroduce himself to this audience he hasn’t visited for over a year. Stick around for some great performances by local singer/songwriters.
