SoVoSo sings National Anthem for Oakland A’s this Saturday! Former pinch-hitter Sam Rogers, currently playing the position of Melody, will take the field with his team and rock the mic and all of Oakland’s McAfee Coliseum. No news on where this event will be televised, so you’d best just come root for the home team in person!

An upset in the first round, beating out one of The Vowel Movement hosts with an all-jazz answer to a hip-hop confrontation.
SoVoSo
Just had a great show at the Wild Iris Festival at the Mendicino County Fairgrounds. SoVoSo’s rhythmic mix of jazz, gospel, world and R&B music is very improvisational and fun. There are plenty of challenging parts to sing and percuss, and it’s really great to be taking some featured solos like Bobby McFerrin’s “Yes, You” with people who actually sing it with him from time to time!
