Feeling the Burn September 6, 2006

It was a very last-minute trip, and a very worthwhile one. The One Mouth Band at Burning Man. In my first day there I met up with someone I hadn’t seen for 10-years since we sang together at music school in Iowa, the fabulous Kathleen Hollingsworth. She instantly invited me to sing with her a cappella group the next day, her gospel group the day after that, sent me to Jazz Camp for an all-night jam, told me when rehearsals were, and generally made my whole trip!
There will be many more stories to tell, pictures to post, and plans to make for next year!
