I only invest with the attitude that I am putting my money where it will do the most good right now (i.e. socially responsible funds) and never expect to collect a dime. I don’t plan to have any heirs, but do expect my family to collect someday if there’s any market left by that time. Can you smell the cynicism? Anyway, here’s a nifty little chart that shows just how compounding interest compounds, and it actually made me want to set aside just a little more than is comfortable right now. Just in case the apocalypse gets postponed again…
